TCU has been recognized by The Princeton Review’s Campus Mental Health Advisory Board as one of the nation’s leading institutions for student mental health and well-being. TCU was selected for the 2026 Mental Health Services Honor Roll, one of only 30 universities in the country and one of only two in Texas.
The honor highlights campuses that show an exceptional commitment to supporting students through counseling, wellness programs, and coordinated care. Selection is based on survey data gathered from both college administrators and students.
TCU’s Commitment to Student Well-Being
This recognition reflects years of thoughtful collaboration across campus. The Counseling & Mental Health Center, Campus Recreation & Wellness Promotion, Housing and Residence Life, and many other partners have worked together to build a culture where students feel supported and know how to access help when they need it.
These efforts include early outreach, prevention programs, crisis support, return-to-campus guidance, after-hours services, and training that helps faculty and staff respond to student needs. Together, these initiatives strengthen the overall student experience and create an environment where well-being is understood and prioritized.
TCU’s placement on the Honor Roll affirms the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and ensuring mental health remains a visible and valued part of campus life.
